Aluminum Christmas Tree

During the 1950’s the popularity of aluminum Christmas tree was at its highest.  This was as a result of them providing a more modern look.  Plus these trees were considerably easier to put up and take down than others and they didn’t need to be strung with lights.

Vintage Evergleam Pom Pom – This one again has a pole that acts as the trunk of the tree in which holes have been drilled and which each branch of the aluminum should be placed.  With this tree the holes are of various sizes so that the branches that match can only be inserted into them ensuring that the shape of a tree is formed when assembled.  This tree was available in various different colors but most homeowners chose to purchase the silver ones.

Purple Paradise – If you really want a Christmas tree that will have everybody talking then this one made by Sterling Inc is worth considering purchasing.  This one is prelit and has 807 shiny purple tips along with 450 purple lights that when turned on will shimmer and shine and really make your home at this festive time feel very joyful indeed.  As with all aluminum Christmas trees it comes with a wide and decorative base to ensure that it remains in the same position at all times.
